Bollywood , Food Hunt and Red Palm oil

Dipty Gharat MpocIndia
Hi loves,

I recently had a wonderful time attending the Palm oil event  with the MPOC team at Sunville Banquets , In Mumbai.. It was a wonderful Monday morning exploring food, restaurants and performing on Bollywood songs. Not only was I in the company of the most friendly and talented Bloggers but it was also about getting to know about the health benefits of palm oil.

We  were welcomed to tea/coffee  and biscuits, and the event was themed around your favorite Bollywood character.

Fast forward to the Think Palm oil event…
Dr. Bhavna Shah and Mr. Sandeep Bhan MPOC event

The event began with the insightful knowledge about the highly beneficial Palm oil by
Dr. Bhavna Shah ( Country  representative India and Sri Lanka Malaysian Palm oil Council )  .and
Mr. Sandeep Bhan (COO of Sime Darby Oils, Part of Sime Darby Plantation, the biggest producer
of sustainable Palm oil)

It was followed by a round of games like Food hunt, Food relay and bollywood talent show.

First and foremost all of us were divided into teams comprising of five members each.

Food hunt

Get Set go

After running up to our first destination,  Baraana , located at Atria Mall for a food hunt . It was clear
that competition  for the coveted title of best team had become stiff yet fun. Here we were blind
folded and had to discover the ingredients of the food item served before us. The yummy mint fritter
was tasty and made from palm oil. Here the second  clue was revealed to us.However , it didn’t take
us long to realise , where we’d be heading next…

The second restaurant was the Game located at Atria Mall. Over here, we had to solve a quiz based
on palm oil. I must say this was a truly informative activity.

The last but not the least restaurant was The LightHouse Cafe located near the venue of the even
Sunville Banquets. Our team quickly rushed to make a salad using Palm oil as a dressing.

Now moving onto the next round of games, it was time for a Food Relay

Food Relay

This round was one of my favorites. Here we had to  make and devour upon the ice cream made
using the sweet items provided at the venue.

Bollywood Talent Show

I guess spoke a little bit about performing on Bollywood songs in the beginning . I guess I was not
going to pass a single opportunity for a performance on bollywood songs . All of us dressed up in
our favorite bollywood characters attended this MPOC event. Then we performed on the songs , I was dressed up like Sonam Kapoor( my fashion and style icon  )
from the movie (Prem Ratan Dhan Payo).

I also danced on the song , which was liked by all.

Coming back to the Benefits Of Palm Oil as discussed by the eminent panelist Dr. Bhavna Shah and
Mr, Sandeep Bhan

I was excited and happy to know that Malaysian Red Palm Oil is loaded with health benefits. It not
only has the capacity to provide good fats to the body but is also high in Nutrient value. It is rich in
Vitamin A, carotenoids etc. I feel, it is time that we all incorporate red palm oil in our diet. After all
Health is Wealth.
